We had a lovely stay at the inn, which was a surprising hidden gem just off the A303. The room was nice and cosy, and the bar/restaurant had a lovely ambiance and good food. The staff were helpful and even allowed us to have an ice bucket for our room so that we could enjoy some bubbly for my birthday. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a very late arrival, but it was not a problem at Hunters Lodge Inn. The rooms were well-appointed and the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a quick and restful sleep. Despite the lack of mobile signal, the free WiFi made up for it. The breakfast was good and the waiting staff were attentive. it was a great stopover on our trip or a relaxing location for a break.

The only drawbacks were a bit of confusion at breakfast due to a new way of working and a small bar of soap at the wash basin would have been helpful. But these were minor inconveniences that didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.

As bike riders, we loved the secure bike storage and bike washing facilities at Hunters Lodge Inn. The staff were also very helpful in recommending nearby bike trails and routes.

The location of the inn is fabulous, set in a beautiful countryside setting close to a racecourse. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food and beverages, including Eggs Benedict for breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a possibility of a room upgrade for free. The rooms are spacious and clean, with well-equipped bathrooms.

Some rooms may have noisy neighbors, so it is advisable to bring ear plugs for light sleepers.

We had great value for our money at the Hunters Lodge Inn in Wincanton. The room was lovely, with a beautiful decked verandah and a spacious bathroom with a big, functional shower. The location was easy to find and convenient for our plans.

The breakfast option could have been improved by providing soap near the sink, instead of having to use the shower gel dispenser inside the shower to wash our hands after using the toilet.
