The location was ideal, with a charming pub and several bars and restaurants nearby. The staff at the front desk, particularly Irena and the young man who alternated shifts with her, were exceptional. They provided excellent service and made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were always clean and tidy, and we were impressed with the level of maintenance. Plus, the fact that there was no car park charge was a huge bonus for us. It felt like staying in a 4-star hotel!

This made it really convenient for exploring the city and getting around. the receptionist was also very welcoming and friendly, which was a nice start to the stay. the public areas and my room were spotlessly clean, and the bed was really comfortable.

Initially, we were only given one key and had to explain that we needed two. there were some cleanliness issues in the rooms.

I did find it a bit inconvenient that there was no air conditioning on the hottest day of the year. Even though there was a fan in the room, it was still extremely hot during the night.

The room was surprisingly spacious with a big bath and comfortable bed. The staff, especially Lizzie and Jennie, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided great restaurant recommendations and even sorted us out with cutlery and crockery when we brought food back to the hotel. The hotel also had free parking on-site, a rare find nowadays. excellent value for money and a fantastic option for dog owners like us.

Lizzie, the receptionist, was incredibly helpful and made our experience one of the best we've had in a budget hotel. She greeted us with a warm welcome, booked us in quickly, arranged a taxi for our event, and even gave us the taxi company's card for our return journey. the room was clean, tidy, and had all the necessary fixtures and fittings. the water temperature was impressively hot. We were also tempted by the breakfast, which sounded like great value for money. We will definitely return.
