I recently stayed at a charming hotel nestled on the edge of the picturesque Peak District. The hotel's rustic yet modern rooms maintained a natural feel with a touch of old-world charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail, from the warm milk served at breakfast to the fresh continental options offered. The hotel's location was perfect, situated in a beautiful village with ample opportunities to explore the surrounding area.

Busy bank holiday weekend, welcoming and friendly staff, large bedroom set away from the pub building, continental breakfast with plenty of fresh food, special touches like a bottle of champagne for anniversary gift.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the room was beautifully decorated and had plenty of character. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. the location was also amazing, with stunning walks right on the doorstep. It was also conveniently located, only a short drive away from the city center. We also loved the fact that the restaurant served delicious meals and that we had the option of a continental breakfast with yummy croissants.

The room layout was not ideal for our needs, and we had to request an extra bed, which wasn't accommodated. some of the amenities in the room were not in the best condition, such as a broken shower curtain and missing light bulbs.

We got great value for our money with a gorgeous room and comfortable bed. The location was perfect for walking and touring, with beautiful views. The staff at Innkeeper'S were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast delights could be improved with more variety like muesli or porridge and ensuring the fruit is ripe and edible.

I had a wonderful stay at The Fox House inn. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Peak District scenery. My room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-maintained en-suite bathroom. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, even on a busy Sunday afternoon. I particularly enjoyed the delicious pain-au-chocolat at breakfast. The staff, especially the Monday and Tuesday evening team, were attentive and friendly, making me feel well taken care of. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would definitely recommend this inn for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the area. I had a great experience and would consider returning in the future.

The shower pressure in our room was a bit low, which made it difficult to enjoy a hot, powerful shower after a long day of activities. the accommodations lacked storage space, with no wardrobe and limited drawer space, which was inconvenient for longer stays.

We stayed at The Fox House for our 1st wedding anniversary and had the best weekend ever! The room was fantastic and the staff were polite and brilliant towards us. They even surprised us with flowers and a card! The food was excellent, especially the locally sourced bacon and eggs for breakfast. The Inn had a homely feel and attracted mostly walkers and cyclists. The staff, including the courteous manageress, were genuinely nice people who clearly enjoyed their work. The location was excellent, with the Longshaw NT estate right across the road.

We highly recommend this hotel.
