We recently stayed at Inverlochy Castle for our 25th wedding anniversary. The staff were sincerely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was peaceful, clean, and comfortable, although the hand shower did not work. The hotel manager was apologetic and moved us to the much larger queens suite as a kind gesture. The location is stunning, being a castle, and the service was exceptional. The dinner experience was truly the best we've ever had, and they even made vegan scones for my wife without any prior notice. Absolutely impressive!

We loved the beautifully presented, old-world service at this hotel. The restaurant and afternoon tea were top class, credit to the chef. The extensive team employed ensured a 5-star stay. The sommelier, William, had extensive wine knowledge and recommended great wines for our tasting menu. The beds were the most comfortable ever, and the views of the nearby mountains were fabulous. Jane Watson, the Hotel Manager, was warm, welcoming, attentive.

The whiskey tasting and wine pairing with dinner were exceptional, and the sommelier's knowledge was impressive. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The hotel offered a truly aristocratic experience. the staff was highly trained and attentive to every detail. We were even pleasantly surprised to be upgraded upon arrival due to room availability. the surroundings of the hotel were like a fairytale, and there were plenty of activities to choose from. Additionally, the breakfast the next morning was outstanding, with a view from the dining room that was simply amazing. the porridge with whiskey cream and brûlée finish was a must-try and truly delicious.

We were a bit disappointed with both dinner and breakfast. We were expecting more sophisticated and tastier dishes, especially considering the impeccable service and food appearance.

As party people, we were thrilled with the array of activities offered at the hotel. From clay pigeon shooting with Charles Cran-Crombie to rowing on the pond, there was never a dull moment. The staff provided excellent service, ensuring our teenage daughters had a great time. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making our stay very enjoyable.

my recent stay in fort william was absolutely amazing - the carnival at inverlochy castle was a dream come true! the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the restaurant served the best food i've ever had - truly world-class.

We felt like royalty, with the staff providing exceptional service and making us feel truly pampered. the rooms were grand and cozy, and we indulged in an amazing bubble bath. the meals, both dinner and breakfast, were a luxurious affair, served with elegance. the staff went above and beyond to make our children's stay memorable, arranging clay pigeon shooting and even letting them row a boat on the pond. the location was also breathtaking, surrounded by natural beauty.

The hotel is in need of some maintenance. the interior was tired and worn, with chipped paint and threadbare upholstery.

One thing we wished we had known beforehand was that there was no air conditioning in the rooms. It made it difficult to leave the windows open due to the midges.

The hotel offered a range of excellent facilities and amenities, making our stay truly unforgettable.

We did encounter one small issue with the noise from the kitchen in the morning.
