Stayed at a lovely lodge on the river, complete with private mooring and free fishing. the lodge itself was comfortable, clean, and had all the basics covered. the owner, Marc, provided helpful information about the area and was reachable if needed. the location was peaceful and beautiful, with lots of extras like a canoe and entertainment options such as PlayStation and Netflix. the village of Isleham was within easy walking distance, offering lively pubs, a Co-op store, and plenty of activities. a highly recommended stay in a tranquil setting with thoughtful amenities.

I had a fantastic stay at this lodge. The location was simply breathtaking, with a fenland marina extension and a picturesque village nearby. Watching water birds and reed dwelling birds was a delightful experience, and even caught sight of a kingfisher flying past. The generous parking space was convenient, and the upstairs balcony offered stunning views of the water and reeds. It was a great spot to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings.

The location was mind-blowing - a hidden gem in the midst of nature's beauty. The facilities were super, especially the lovely conservatory and the great outdoor area where we enjoyed canoeing and fantastic fishing. Despite the broken rods, the kitchen was well stocked and the flat-screen TV added to the overall enjoyment. The attention to detail with amenities like free wifi, parking, and even board games made our stay even more memorable. Plus, the fact that pets were allowed was a definite bonus. I would highly recommend this place!

This place had everything! TVs in every room, DVD player, games, PS2, Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen. The beds were so comfy and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing break or quality family time!

We recently stayed at the charming River Lodge in Isleham for a relaxing weekend getaway. Situated in a tranquil area overlooking a serene river, the location was perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. The lodge was well equipped and comfortable, providing everything we needed for our stay, including canoes for a fun paddle on the river. The ample parking space was a bonus, accommodating our two vehicles easily. The lodge had a beautiful conservatory and a lovely outside area, perfect for enjoying the picturesque surroundings. The kitchen was well stocked and the TV provided plenty of entertainment options. we had a fantastic time at River Lodge and would highly recommend it.
