the hostel in lerwick was great, but islesburgh house took it up a notch! friendly staff, guided tour, history insights, communal kitchen. lovely building with a gaming room, lounge, and more amenities, plus private showers. exceeded my expectations!

The location was ideal for exploring the area on foot and accessing transportation options. The exclusive 4-bed room we stayed in was well-organized and had all the necessary amenities. The communal facilities such as the kitchen, laundry, lounge, and dining room were all well-maintained. The cafe across the road at the Community Centre was friendly and a great place to unwind. The hostel also had convenient services like phone charging and reliable wifi. Additionally, the cleanliness of the entire place was superb.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making my experience even better. The hostel had a beautiful building with spacious rooms, a comfortable lounge, and a fun gaming room. I also appreciated the convenient facilities, such as the well-equipped kitchen and the en suite and adjacent bathroom options. The location was ideal, with everything within a short walk. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and staff were top-notch. I would definitely come back again.
