We recently had a wonderful stay at a guest house in Windermere. The property, Ivy Bank, was immaculately clean and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was our first time staying in a guest house and it was a refreshing change. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the town center. The staff at Ivy Bank were exceptional, providing us with helpful information and advice on scenic spots to visit. They even made us a fresh pot of tea upon our late arrival. The breakfasts were delicious and we would highly recommend this lovely guest house for a memorable stay.

Had a blast during Easter break! Perfect location for exploring the beautiful surroundings, with lovely walks within easy reach. Was impressed with the well-prepared breakfasts every morning and the friendly staff. The cozy and well-equipped room exceeded expectations!

What really got on our nerves was the narrow entrance. Parking is limited and maneuvering a big car in there can be frustrating.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the free toiletries and the cozy sitting area in our room. The Wi-Fi connection was strong and reliable, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. We also took advantage of the off-site car park and the luggage storage facility, which made our stay even more convenient. My partner and I recently stayed at Ivy Bank Guest House for a romantic getaway. We were thrilled with our attic room, which had a cozy and romantic atmosphere. The hosts, Nikki and Garreth, were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations for walks and attractions. The breakfast choice was excellent, especially the delicious porridge. We also loved the thoughtful touch of providing Victoria sandwich for all the guests. The location of the accommodation was perfect, right in the heart of the village and within walking distance to both the station and the lake. We can't wait to book another stay in the future.
