We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and both the hotel facilities and parking were convenient. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views overlooking the Kyles of Bute and snow-capped hills in the distance. We loved being just a short walk away from the pebble beach on the shores of the Kyles of Bute. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs.

Travelling alone, I loved the peacefulness of the room with no noise at all. The shower was great and the hotel staff really cared about making my stay perfect. The bar/restaurant area had fantastic views and a cozy atmosphere. The hotel staff, especially Lily, were lovely and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The little touches, like offering me midge spray and being welcoming despite my late arrival, made my stay memorable.

I stayed at Kames for a few nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was fantastic - each meal was better than the last. The service was top-notch and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The period building and its stunning surroundings added to the charm of my stay. The views over the water from my room were superb and the bed was very comfortable. All the amenities I needed were provided and the pub downstairs had great beer and food. highly recommended!

We had a delightful stay at a charming hotel tucked away in a picturesque location. The warm welcome we received made us feel right at home. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the quiet bar offered a fantastic selection of drinks. The stunning view from the breakfast room was a real treat. Although our room was on the small side, it had a modern bathroom and all the necessary amenities. we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

The views from our room were pretty nice, but that's about it. the location was convenient to get around, it being close to the city center and all. the food was decent, nothing special but good enough.

There was no hospitality offered whatsoever, and we did not feel welcomed at all. the regulars seemed to be more important to the staff, which made us feel left out and unwelcome.

The helpful lady made the stay effortless and even posted my forgotten book. Upgraded to a superior room with a charming sea view. Comfortable bed and a lovely roll-top bath. Friendly staff, excellent food, and a lively pub downstairs. Highly recommended!

Stayed at a lovely hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a spotless en-suite. the food was excellent, both at dinner and breakfast. the location was fabulous, with the opportunity to swim in the loch before breakfast. the front facing rooms offered amazing views. the evening meals were of great quality, and the staff were friendly and helpful. highly recommended and would stay there again.

the value for money was exceptional - I couldn't believe how affordable the prices were considering the breathtaking views from the rooms. Speaking of the rooms, they were comfortable and well-maintained, with a lovely bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, from the basic amenities provided to the fantastic views across to Bute. And let's not forget the breakfast - not only were the dishes delicious, but the beautiful views of Bute made it even more special.
