The rooms were nice and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. the cooked breakfast provided was tasty and satisfying. the hotel's location near the canal made for pleasant walks.

Some of my friends staying in other rooms experienced noise from events in the bar, which made it difficult for them to sleep. the dining area was quite noisy during dinner due to a disco, making it hard to have a conversation with my group.

On the positive side, the hotel's location was excellent, situated in the center of Middlewich and close to the bustling Middlewich centre. the spacious and well-designed rooms were clean and tastefully decorated, offering a comfortable stay. The breakfast served was delicious, with a wide variety of choices available. the attached restaurant provided excellent meals, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the huge beer garden, indulging in its lovely outdoor ambiance.

The downstairs bar area was overly crowded and noisy, resembling a busy town centre bar, with no private space available for guests seeking a quieter drink.

Had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in a great location. The food was delicious, especially the homemade sarnie with plenty of side garnish. The beer garden was a lovely surprise and perfect for soaking up the sun. Even though the bathroom fan was noisy, it didn't affect our enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with friendly and attentive housekeeping, laundry, and room amenities such as ironing facilities and heating. We also appreciated the terrace, where we could enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink while taking in the stunning views of the garden.
