The location was convenient, with a short drive to the charming village of Kirkby Lonsdale. we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we will definitely be back!

The morning meal could have been improved by using smoked salmon instead of shredded ham slices in the eggs benedict.

Superb and helpful staff, with a special mention to the landlord for being a great host. Great food served quickly and a breath of fresh air. Friendly atmosphere with good bar and parking arrangements.

kings arms hotel: location was very good, just off the motorway. breakfast and dinner exceeded expectations. nice, traditional pub, very cosy bar and restaurant. overall an great place to stay. we were very happy with our experience at the kings arms. the staff, particularly the manager matt and one of the barmen chris, were friendly and welcoming. they made us feel right at home and nothing was too much trouble. the food was excellent with a good selection of beers on tap and chilled wine. we enjoyed a delicious and reasonably priced steak burger.

Loved the large outdoor seating area with exposed beams and cobbled courtyard. Perfect for enjoying a meal and pint. Kept up-to-date with the latest news and events.

Surprisingly, I didn't enjoy feeling like an inconvenience to some of the staff. Such a shame, really.
