The Kings Arms Inn in Oakham was a delightful stay with my 8, month, old baby. the friendly staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, and the food was top, notch using locally sourced ingredients. the atmosphere was relaxing, and the location peaceful, offering an antidote to modern life. the ample car park and excellent WiFi were convenient, making it great value for money. the smokehouse on, site added a unique twist to the menu, with the charcuterie board providing a memorable experience. the fresh eggs from free, range hens for breakfast were a highlight, and even though we couldn't enjoy the breakfast due to our schedule, the staff kindly provided cereal in the room. the room was spacious and clean, although the shower could have been better positioned. the owner was very helpful, and the polite and professional staff made our stay enjoyable. the restricted opening hours were a slight drawback, but the overall experience was positive. Near relaxing sun terrace and landmarks like Rutland Water and nearby villages, the hotel offered a great opportunity for family bonding and relaxation.

We couldn't get enough of it. the chef really knows their stuff and uses high-quality ingredients. the portion sizes were just right, not too big or too small. It was definitely worth the price. the staff were friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even better.

Only one person could shower at a time due to problems with the mains piping. It was quite inconvenient, especially when we were in a rush to get ready.

What a find! I had been searching for a dog-friendly pub with nice rooms in the area for ages, and I can't believe I missed Kings Arms Inn until now! The pub is warm, inviting, and the staff and locals are incredibly friendly. It was buzzing on a Friday evening, but there was no pressure at all. The food was absolutely fantastic, the best I've had in a while, and most of it was sourced locally. The choice of ales and wines was great, and even though I couldn't decide on a wine, the house wine was perfect. The staff and locals fell in love with my dog, Bo, and the pub and room were both dog-friendly. The room, the Bakery Suite, was super comfy, with lovely toiletries and all the essential amenities. I loved the quick self-service check-in and the free WiFi. I had an amazing experience and can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend Kings Arms Inn!

Superb quality of locally sourced food reflected in every dish and I could tell the effort the staff make to deliver an exceptional experience. the fireplace kept the room toasty on a chilly night and the bed was very comfortable. the location was perfect with easy access to a range of activities.
