We stayed at a lovely unspoilt pub which had great food, real ale, and friendly locals. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was welcoming. The menu offered a variety of options and the food was of superb quality. The bedrooms were comfortable and we had a peaceful night's sleep. The location was excellent, with easy access to nearby towns and villages. We would definitely stay at this pub again.

The room at Kings Head Low House was incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed and a fantastic en suite shower room. I felt like I was in a home away from home. The attention to detail in the room was impressive, with tea making facilities and everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The rural location of the hotel added to the charm, situated in a beautiful historical village. It was a peaceful and serene setting that I thoroughly enjoyed.

There were a couple of minor drawbacks. While it would have been a nice addition, I was aware of this beforehand.

Had a fantastic stay at this charming inn! The historical building and cozy atmosphere made it a truly unique experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was so comfy. The food cooked by Gareth was exceptional, especially the slow braised beef cheek with red wine jus - to die for! The well-picked wine list and locally crafted ales from the tap room were a delightful treat. Marie and Gareth were wonderful hosts, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

I got great value for my money at Kings Head Low House in Laxfield. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a fantastic shower and a super comfy bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the wifi was good. I especially appreciated the fan and fridge in the room, along with the complimentary bottles of water on a hot day. The location was perfect as it was close to my family, and the staff were understanding and accommodating during my 6-night self-isolation after traveling from overseas. The hotel was quiet and the room was cleaned to a high standard. The highlight was definitely the pub and beer garden, which felt like stepping back in time and offered a unique and authentic experience. I can't wait to stay here again when the pub is fully open.

Food for breakfast could have been improved with more options available, especially since the bar/restaurant was not open every day during my visit.

Loved the charming setup of the rooms in a separate building from the pub. The room was lovely, clean, and well-equipped with a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Convenient location with a Co-op just a 2-minute walk away for any additional needs.

The amenities, including a fridge with water and a kettle with tea and coffee, added to our comfort. The location, though about 30 minutes from the beach, was in a friendly small village with two pubs and a Coop. The staff at Kings Head Low House were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We've already recommended this place to our friends and will definitely return.
