The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were yummy. The hotel is close enough to the center to walk to everywhere.

The hotel's location in the bar area made it easy to find great places to eat and drink. The hosts provided a genuine warm and relaxed welcome and made me feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Kings Lodge in Torquay. Amanda and Bryan were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensuring our stay was memorable. The hotel's garden provided a perfect spot to relax in the afternoon sun, and their reasonably priced ciders were a delightful addition. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach. The cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfast options exceeded our expectations. Truly a gem of a hotel.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main town but still in a quiet area. the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We loved the fact that they had a beautiful garden with plenty of seating, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. the bar stocked a great selection of local ales and ciders, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The room we stayed in was a bit on the small side, but since we didn't spend much time there while we were awake, it wasn't much of a problem. However, next time we visit, we will definitely request one of their larger rooms for more space.

The sitting area at the front of the property was beautifully arranged with comfy seating, perfect for enjoying a drink from the well-stocked bar. The breakfast was delicious, and they even catered to my vegetarian daughter. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the seafront and close to all the attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.
