The on-site restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed the convenience of having a good pub within a ten-minute walk. The nearby bus service was also a plus, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast options were excellent. The property had comfortable rooms, clean linen, and nice amenities like tea and coffee making facilities. We also appreciated the ample parking available right outside the property. The gardens were lovely and provided a great place to walk our dog.

One of the major drawbacks of our stay was the lack of attention from the staff due to a wedding taking place. They seemed to be preoccupied with the wedding, leaving us waiting for a long time to get a drink and even causing our beds to be made improperly.
