The Kinmount Hotel had a really nice atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly. The pub and restaurant were quaint and lovely, perfect for enjoying some country drinks by the woodburner. The food was good, and there were sister restaurants nearby with great options too. The hotel was also pet-friendly and had lovely surrounding walks. As a budget traveler, the value was super good and the portions were generous.

Had a great Xmas stay here! Loved the friendly staff and warm welcome. The food was amazing, especially the steaks and delicious chips. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient, close to the Dino Park and a local distillery. Plenty of parking and a peaceful atmosphere. Self-service check-in and out was quick and easy. a lovely experience!

Some of the rooms were dated and not as advertised. TVs not working and no toiletries or hairdryers provided.

I stayed at the charming Kinmount pub and accommodation for a short visit while exploring Claeverlock Castle and playing golf at Powfoot. The room was comfortable with a spacious en-suite bathroom, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and the pub served exceptional food, especially the delicious tasting plate and tender lamb. Free WiFi and convenient location added to my enjoyable stay.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and though they were a bit dated, they had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly attentive and quickly provided us with the missing milk for our tea and a waste bin, which were promptly brought to our room. The location was central, making it convenient for exploring the surrounding areas. The breakfast was more than I would normally pay for, but it was worth it, especially for the delicious sausages and the availability of Earl Grey tea.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was great and there's not much that could be improved.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel well looked after from the moment we arrived. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable, with a newly refurbished room that had a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect for our needs, as it was just off the A75 and conveniently close to where we had to be in Dumfries the next day. We also appreciated the lovely surrounding walks and the fact that the hotel was pet-friendly. the staff and cleanliness were the standout features of our stay.

The room was spacious, with a perfect en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was superb with friendly staff. The hotel's location was convenient, just off the A75, providing easy access to both sides of the Solway and the local area.
