I had a fantastic stay at this guest house in the Lake District. the hosts, Paula and Richard, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure that I had a great experience. the breakfast they served was delicious, with a range of options to choose from. the rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were up to standard. the location of the guest house was ideal, situated between the center of Windermere and Bowness. Both were just a short 10-minute walk away, offering plenty of dining options. I had a wonderful time and would definitely book here again on my next visit to the area.

The owners were incredibly friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. The beds were so comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, and I really appreciated that they accommodated my vegan diet. The area around the guest house was quiet and beautiful, with easy walking access to Bowness and the center of Windermere. I especially loved using the local buses, which were convenient and the drivers were always helpful. I'll definitely be staying at Kirkwood again!

The hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services, with excellent room service and efficient housekeeping. I was warmly welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival. The room amenities were top-notch, including ironing facilities, a comfortable sitting area, and modern furnishing. The hotel also had a beautiful garden with comfortable furniture to relax in. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a wide selection of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable.

They were incredibly attentive and friendly, going out of their way to accommodate our needs as we are both autistic. the hosts at this charming property were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. the room was warm, cosy, and had a comfortable four poster bed with beautiful bed linen. the bathroom was well-equipped with both a bath and shower. the location was central, with easy parking and a bus stop nearby, saving us from the hassle of parking in the bustling town of Bowness. We also enjoyed a delicious pre-ordered breakfast with a great selection of choices.
