The guesthouse’s location by the harbour in the heart of town is unbeatable. We loved being close to all the local restaurants and attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a spectacular view of the harbour and beyond. The breakfast, brought to our room, was delicious and provided a great start to the day. The host, Alan, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The professional service and cozy atmosphere made it an exceptional experience.

The breakfast at Knap Guest House was absolutely amazing! The staff must have thought I was a professional eater, as they provided me with enough food to feed an army. The selection of teas, biscuits, and toffees in the room was a lovely touch. The owner was also very helpful, suggesting a great café nearby. The location was perfect, right on the front of Tarbert harbour. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The entryway impressed us with its stunning stain glass and tiling. Our bedroom was clean and cozy, equipped with a small fridge and fresh milk. The location of the hotel was perfect, with a grocery store just steps away and the castle an enjoyable 5-10 minute walk.

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. The location was perfect, right in the center of town and close to the Kennacraig ferry terminal. We loved being able to see the harbor from our room. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with soft and immaculate towels and dressing gowns. The breakfast that was delivered to our room was lovely and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
