Our stay at Knockerdown Cottages was fantastic! We stayed for a few days and enjoyed the spacious and cozy cottage. The extra touches like two bath towels each were a pleasant surprise. The swimming pool was a highlight, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby walks and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning!

The location of the cottages is truly breathtaking, with stunning views everywhere you look. Nature lovers will be in heaven, as there are plenty of walks right on your doorstep. The open plan kitchen and dining area is spacious and ideal for celebrating together. Plus, the swimming pool and pool table are great for keeping everyone entertained.

Some guests did mention that the pillows were quite hard and high, so it would have been nice to have a choice of softer pillows.

Beautiful cottages in a great location near Matlock Bath and Carsington Water. Friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean and well-equipped kitchens. Excellent food served in the nearby pub. Highly recommended. 👍

Plenty of free parking and a beautiful meadow area for relaxation. Great location for exploring the Peak District and Carsington Waters.

We had a fantastic stay at a cottage in this location. The cottage was amazing, with stunning views and spacious rooms. It was clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The little touches like blankets with the sofas added a cozy touch. The on-site facilities were excellent, especially the outdoor and indoor heated swimming pools. The kids loved swimming and playing in the on-site play area. The friendly staff were informative and made our stay even more enjoyable.

the venue and location were fantastic, with amazing views and plenty of walking opportunities. the cottage itself was warm, cosy, and spacious, perfect for our group celebration. We made use of the swimming pool and pool table, and the open plan kitchen-dining area was ideal. Plus, the convenience of having a pub just steps away from the garden gate was a bonus.

My recent stay at the cottages was absolutely fantastic. The surroundings were beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful. I stayed in Butterton cottage which was perfect for my group of 2 adults and 2 kids. The cottage had everything we needed, including a play area outside where the kids could play safely. The beds were comfortable and the whole cottage had a cozy, homely feel. We especially loved the games room and the pool, which we used every day. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend the cottages to others. Thanks for the great experience!

We recently stayed at a self-catering cottage in a great location near Carsington Water. The cottage was spacious, well-equipped, and clean. The swimming pool on-site was open and we could pre-book slots, which worked well. The children's playground and grounds were also open, perfect for keeping the kids entertained. Plenty of free car parking was available.
