We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming family-run hotel and we couldn't have been more impressed. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town and within easy walking distance of everything. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, from the housekeepers to the waitstaff. We were greeted with a warm welcome drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities, including heating and a television. The dining experience was top-notch, with delicious breakfast and dinner options that catered to all dietary preferences. The bar/lounge area was a great place to relax and unwind, and the garden provided a tranquil setting to enjoy a drink or meal. we couldn't fault this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

The only downside, if you could even call it that, is that it may be difficult to get a reservation here due to its popularity.

The parking entrance could be dangerous and parking could be tight, especially if there are many cars. the room was quite small and not worth the money, although it did come with all the basic amenities.

Tanto la ubicación como el precio de este hotel son excelentes. Está situado muy cerca de la famosa calle Nanjing, el Bund y muchas tiendas. Las habitaciones son limpias y cómodas, aunque algunas no tienen ventanas. El desayuno bufé es bueno, pero podría mejorar. En general, este hotel ofrece un buen servicio y una buena relación calidad-precio.

the owners and staff were excellent, the cleanliness was top-notch and the towels and bedding were first class. The food, especially the dinner, was exceptional and the breakfast had a good variety. The beautiful garden/courtyard was a nice place to relax and the location was excellent, with easy parking and a panoramic walk nearby. We will definitely recommend and stay again.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a great location near the centre of town. The room was comfortable and had a laptop provided. The bathroom was clean and had a lovely big bath. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with fresh, local produce. There were also some nice little touches like fresh milk in the fridge. It was a peaceful place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle.

The parking situation was a bit challenging and the car park was difficult to navigate.

loved our recent stay in shaftesbury. la fleur de lys was even better this time. room was comfy, quiet, and beautifully decorated. bathroom was spacious with lovely toiletries. dinner was delicious and service was excellent. highly recommend!

Showerhead needed fixing.

We were pleasantly surprised by the charming and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The old-fashioned vibe gave it a unique character. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the food served was exceptional. Although there were a few minor issues, such as the lack of a blind on the skylight and low water pressure in the shower, the overall experience was highly enjoyable. We especially appreciated the warm welcome and the efforts made by the owners to ensure our comfort. The location of the hotel in the quaint town added to the overall charm. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future. I would recommend this hotel for a delightful and memorable experience.
