It was also just a short walk to the tube station, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel had a wonderful, family-run atmosphere that added to the charm. I needed to be close to the hospital, and La Gaffe was the perfect choice. Breakfast had a great menu selection and the cooking was excellent. The location is ideal, close to Hampstead Heath and all the local services. The recently renovated toilet/shower was top-notch. It felt like staying with warm Italian friends, and the dinner in the restaurant was authentic and delicious. A fantastic place to stay in Hampstead.
