We had a great stay celebrating a special occasion! The accommodation was spacious, warm and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was beautiful, offering scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the on-site activities, such as archery, which were both fun and well-organized. The staff and instructors were excellent, providing friendly and helpful service throughout our stay.

There were a few minor drawbacks to our experience. The sleeping benches in the pod were quite small and not ideal if you toss and turn during the night.

Can't fault the property.

The staff were friendly and took the time to explain the reasons behind the outdoor activities, which was interesting. The location was beautiful, with no light pollution, making it ideal for stargazing with a telescope. The kitchen and toilet facilities were clean and I never had to wait to use them.

The beds in the pods were uncomfortable and it was difficult to get comfortable, with the covers falling off easily. Having to walk up and down the hill to use the toilet was inconvenient, especially when you've had a few glasses of wine.

Absolutely breathtaking location in the remote Feshie valley, surrounded by jaw-dropping hills, forests, and wildlife. The basic cabin was surprisingly affordable and the kitchen/toilet block had all the necessary facilities. The staff, especially Kirsti, were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, even leaving a little birthday gift for our child. The convenience of having a washing machine and clothes horse was a nice bonus. The Ptarmigan Lodge provided ample space for our large family and the well-stocked kitchen made cooking easy. The outdoor space, including fire pits and BBQ areas, was fantastic. The facilities were top-notch, with a well-equipped and clean lodge that surpassed some B&B accommodations we've stayed in. The hot tub was simply amazing and the staff made us feel truly welcome.

Perfect size for a weekend away. Hot tub available 24/7, easy to use. Beds clean. Good wifi. Hot water always available. Lovely staff, explained outdoor activities and area. Quiet location. Kitchen and toilet facilities readily available. Fire pit area great for relaxation. Dark skies perfect for stargazing.
