This lodge is a hidden gem in a stunning location for hikers and nature lovers. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, clean, and spacious, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hosts are welcoming and provide a thoughtful welcome basket. The hot tub is a great addition, perfect for relaxation even in rainy weather. The nearby village offers a pleasant walk and a lovely pub with delicious food.

The only slight inconvenience is the lack of a porch near the hot tub, making it slightly inconvenient to access during rainy weather.

We had a wonderful stay at Thornhill Lodge in the Lake District. The lodge was stunning, clean, and super cozy. Debbie, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and provided a lovely welcome basket. The hot tub was a perfect addition and great even in the rain. The village is just a short walk away and the local pub, Masons Arms, had delicious food and friendly staff. We definitely plan to book again!
