The house itself is tastefully decorated and well-stocked with essentials like tea, coffee, and biscuits. Guests with children will appreciate the toys and books provided.

The road noise can be slightly bothersome for light sleepers.

As women traveling alone, we loved that Lavender House had a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with both a bath and separate shower, and an additional downstairs toilet. The hosts were communicative and accommodating. The cozy property felt like home with everything we needed. The location was great with all amenities in walking distance.

The location was perfect, with easy access to Sherwood Forest and Sherwood Pines. The house was clean and had fresh bed linen. We appreciated the provided cleaning materials and washing pods, as well as the teas and coffee. The secure garden and off-road parking were great for our family, and the extra toilet and access to kitchen appliances were a bonus. We also liked that there were dog bowls and poo bags provided, as we had a pup with us. Having a pub across the road and local takeaways and a convenience store nearby was very convenient.

It has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay and feels like a home away from home. The location is convenient, with a pub/restaurant and a Co-op nearby. Sherwood Forest is a short walk away, and there's also an Asda store a few miles away for larger shopping needs. Having a private parking space and garden is a great bonus. a lovely place to stay.
