Just stayed at a hotel in the heart of town. LOVED the pristine bed linen. Needs refurbishment, but location is unbeatable. Would choose it again. Better in person!

Staying at this hotel was a great experience! the location was awesome, right in the town centre, close to Dulverton Heritage Centre, Tarr Steps, and Lorna Doone Statue. the room was clean and nicely furnished, with a comfy bed and a good selection of teas and coffees. the breakfast was delicious and served promptly. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.

There were a few areas that could be improved. the hot water took a bit long to heat up, around 20 minutes, which was a bit inconvenient.

I recently had a lovely overnight stay at a hotel in Dulverton, and I must say, the Lion Hotel exceeded my expectations. the new German family owners truly go above and beyond to ensure a great experience for their guests. the rooms, though a bit warm in the back, are comfortable and have a charming old-fashioned chic. the food, especially the breakfast, was delicious and the portion sizes generous. I also appreciated that they welcome dogs, as our 9-month-old lab had a wonderful time. Dulverton itself is a delightful small town with plenty of walks and good restaurants and pubs.

The location in the middle of the village was excellent. The room was comfortable with tea/coffee/instant chocolate and a very comfortable bed with clean linen. The bath/shower was pleasant. The evening meal was very good and the breakfast was exceptional. The hosts were friendly and keen to ensure their guests were catered for.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel near where my friends live. The staff at Lion Hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful, taking care of our every need. The highlight of our stay was the amazing evening meal and breakfast. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. In addition, the hotel had a bar next door with a pool table, jukebox, and darts. The location was convenient, allowing us to relax without having to constantly drive back and forth.
