our stay at liongate house was even better than our previous visit to ilchester. the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options. overall, liongate house felt like a high-end boutique hotel.

During my Christmas stay, I found this B&B to be conveniently located near the town center and easily accessible from the main routes. the hosts were very warm and welcoming, offering us a much-needed tea upon arrival. the breakfast was exceptional, featuring a great selection of cereals, juices, and either a cooked or continental meal. I appreciated the gluten-free toast option as well.

The room we stayed in lacked proper insulation. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep due to the noise from the traffic outside.
