Couldn't have asked for a better place to be on my birthday. The friendly welcome and the sense of staying in a family home rather than a hotel or B&B made my stay at Lisle Combe extra special. The spacious and historic house, with its amazing back story, exceeded my expectations. The large comfortable twin bedded room with a sea view and separate bathroom added to the overall charm of this hidden gem. The freedom to roam the beautiful gardens and the quick walk to the quiet beach were a delightful treat. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the location of the house provided a secluded and peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend this unique and tranquil retreat.

We had an amazing Easter break at a hidden gem in Ventnor. The impressive Elizabethan facade of the hotel was a sight to behold, and the extensive cliff top grounds offered stunning views. We loved exploring the hidden gardens and meeting the friendly animals. The location, near the coastal path and secluded beaches, was perfect for enjoying the outdoors.

Not having Wi-Fi in the room and poor mobile signal was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the bed was too soft and provided no support, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
