The value for money at Lismore Guest House was excellent - great room and service for the price. The location was ideal, with beautiful views and easy access to local amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

As bike riders, we loved the bike parking and tools available for us. The view from the hilltop was fantastic, and the proximity to both the train station and the seafront made it even more convenient. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had thoughtful touches like plug and USB port chargers. The breakfast options were excellent, and they even catered to vegans without advance notice.

Felt totally at home, no complaints whatsoever.

The warm welcome I received upon arrival made a great start to my Easter break. the friendly staff offered me a coffee and a smile, lifting my spirits on a gloomy day. the location of the guest house was perfect, close to the start of the C2C cycle ride, and they even provided secure bike storage. My room had a lovely view of the harbour, and it was clean and well-decorated. the breakfast options were excellent, including a delicious porridge that fueled me up for a full day of riding.

While I had a great overall experience, the Tassimo coffee maker in the room was a bit inconvenient for a tea drinker like myself. It took some time to figure out how to use it, and even then, it wasn't the easiest way to get hot water for tea.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was lovely, clean, and fresh with a delightful mix of teas and coffees. The location was great, not far from the harbour and some tourist attractions in the Lake District. The breakfast in the sunny conservatory overlooking the sea was a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming and kind, making us feel at home.

Conveniently located near the railway station, this budget guest house is a great base for exploring the Lake District. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, offering a spacious and comfortable stay. The friendly staff go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience, accommodating special requests and providing excellent service. The breakfast options are plentiful and of high quality. the guest house offers secure bike storage, making it ideal for cyclists. the nearby restaurants offer a good range of dining options, including Casa Romana.

One downside is that the surrounding area may not feel very safe, especially at night, so it's advisable to take precautions and be aware of your surroundings.

I had a wonderful stay at Lismore Guest House in Whitehaven. The room I stayed in, room 7, was absolutely beautiful with an incredible view. Brian, the owner, was so welcoming and cheerful, making my check-in experience pleasant and efficient. The entire guest house was spotlessly clean, including the freshly painted rooms and clean bathroom. The breakfast was abundant, with a delicious cooked meal and fresh berries. The location was perfect, with easy access to local amenities and enjoyable harbor walks. I will definitely book again on my next visit to Whitehaven without a doubt.
