Spent Xmas here and what a gem! the shepherd huts and yurts were beautifully designed, clean showers, and a cozy communal kitchen setup. the breakfast hamper with croissants, juices, and fresh fruit was a delightful touch. Plus, the small details like accommodating dietary needs and even having dog-washing amenities were superb. Loved the peaceful garden setting with a play area; truly felt like a retreat. the honest shop was convenient for little essentials without any hassle.

Honestly, there weren't any significant downsides. Maybe just a minor temperature fluctuation in one shower.

We stayed in the Alfred, a cozy and comfortable accommodation with a comfy bed and a provided fire pit for a cozy evening. the retreat is situated on beautiful and calming land, with stunning views all around. We also enjoyed the convenience of having the local pub, the London Inn, just a 2-minute walk away. the food there was delicious and the landlady, Sarah, made us feel right at home. the retreat itself had amenities like a game of pool and a lovely breakfast, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time at our own pace. we highly recommend Little England Retreats for a getaway with friendly hosts, stunning views, and plenty of nearby attractions to explore.

To top it all off, the breakfast served in the summer house exceeded our expectations with a variety of fresh bread, pastries, cereals, and plenty of coffee.
