I recently stayed at a charming lodge tucked away in the hills near a serene lochan. The room was cozy with a comfortable bed and a wood burning stove that added to the delightful atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised by Mr. Smudge the friendly cat who paid me a visit and even accompanied me on a walk around the lochan. The beautiful location provided a peaceful and scenic retreat. The helpful written instructions made everything easy to navigate, from using the log burner to the eco bathroom. Hazel, the owner, was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect, even alerting us when we accidentally left our car lights on. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the modern shower was a nice touch. it was an excellent short break in a quaint and charming lodge.

While the lack of phone signal may be an inconvenience for some, the lodge's secluded location more than made up for it. Additionally, the sawdust toilet took a bit of getting used to.

Our stay at Little Lochan Lodge was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly hosts who made us feel right at home. The lodge itself was just as beautiful as the pictures, with a cozy log burner that kept us warm during the nights. We loved all the little touches, like the tea and coffee making facilities and the toiletries provided. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals. The surroundings were stunning, with a peaceful lochan and the sound of birdsong in the morning. One of our favorite moments was when Mr Smudge the cat paid us a visit and joined us for a walk around the lochan. The owners went above and beyond to help us when our car got stuck in the snow, even driving us into town for food. we had an amazing stay and can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy lodge in the beautiful countryside. The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The main cabin had the most comfortable and cozy bed we've ever had in a rental property - we slept like logs! The lodge was spotless and every detail was impeccably taken care of. We also appreciated the fact that there was no phone or Wi-Fi, allowing us to fully disconnect from the outside world. The surrounding area was full of wildlife to observe and listen to. Hazel and Alistair, our welcoming hosts, provided excellent facilities and were always happy to assist. We highly recommend Little Lochan Lodge to anyone seeking a few days of peace and bliss.
