We got great value for our money at Lobhill Farmhouse, with lovely rooms and a well-maintained property. The location was perfect, surrounded by the beautiful Devon countryside with stunning views. The staff, especially Jane, were kind and helpful, providing us with great tips for exploring the area.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a wider variety of choices.

Beautiful surroundings, well-tended gardens with communal seating. Woodland walk nearby. Spotlessly clean cottage with generous tea, coffee, and self-catering essentials. Immaculate ensuite with spacious shower and plenty of towels. Welcoming host, nothing too much trouble. Would visit again.

We had a fantastic weekend break in a charming and cozy farmhouse with beautiful gardens to explore. the vintage decor was quirky and individual, giving a cozy feel. the breakfast was cooked fresh to order, with a great selection of items to choose from and various blends of tea too. We also loved the convenience of the location and the availability of the host, making it easy to go for a walk around the farm, gardens, and woods. It was a unique experience that we'd definitely repeat!

however, the host was more than helpful in letting us use a common one. the supermarket was quite far from the farmhouse, which was a little inconvenient.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside and wildlife. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural scenery.

Worst aspects of my Easter stay:

loved my stay in okehampton, but Lobhill exceeded my expectations! peaceful location with pretty grounds, saw deer too. spacious room with comfy bed and good shower. delicious breakfast with fresh bread. great for exploring the moors. would recommend and return for sure. thanks!

lobhill farmhouse exceeded my expectations during my overnight stay in okehampton. the room was spotlessly clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. everything was thoughtfully designed, making it a beautiful and welcoming place to stay. i can't wait to go back for a weekend getaway.

We had a wonderful romantic escape in the beautiful countryside. the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. the hostess was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the breakfast was exceptional, with a delicious cooked-to-order meal that satisfied our appetites. We also loved the little touches in the room, like the freshly baked cookies and the variety of teas to choose from.

The bathroom in our room was a bit small and dated, which could use some upgrading. we found the mattress to be a little too soft for our liking, causing us to roll towards the middle of the bed.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is close to many beautiful places to visit. It is just off the edge of Dartmoor, allowing for easy access to the stunning natural surroundings. the hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it convenient for travelers. Guests can enjoy spacious and comfortable rooms with thoughtful touches, such as fresh milk instead of mini pots. The breakfast is delicious and the service is friendly and attentive.

Some guests mentioned that there was occasional noise from the room above, which may disrupt the peace and quiet.

The breakfast was exceptional, cooked to perfection and served at my desired time. Although the WiFi didn't work for my antique mobile phone, it wasn't a major inconvenience.
