Imagine finding a quaint and charming hotel nestled in a beautiful part of Deeside, surrounded by picturesque scenery. That's exactly what Loch Kinord provided for us during our recent stay. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the peacefulness of the area.

Although the menu could have been more varied, we had a delightful meal during our stay. The flavors were rich, and although there was a bit of a wait, it was well worth it.

amazing summer stay at a victorian hotel with excellent food, friendly staff, and beautiful decor. Loch Kinord exceeded my expectations, especially after a previous business stay in the area. The refurbishments were top-notch, and the breakfast was wonderful.

Leaky toilet was a minor inconvenience.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The log cabins were perfect, warm, and cosy. They were very clean and had all the necessary amenities. The hotel staff were welcoming and the facilities were great. The dinner was delicious and the breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. The fresh, local produce was cooked just for us. Our room was comfortable and had a private veranda overlooking the beautiful lawn and gardens. The hotel's friendly atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. It was also in a perfect location to explore the Highlands, including the Cairngorm National Park and Balmoral Castle. Additionally, the hotel offered very early breakfast for cyclists taking part in the Etape royale.

This charming hotel nestled in the woodlands around the picturesque nature reserve at Loch Kinnord is a real find. The stunning location in the highlands of Scotland offers a tranquil and beautiful area for a relaxing getaway. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. The attention to detail in the rooms, with a balcony overlooking the garden, is apparent and adds to the overall comfort and enjoyment of the stay. Additionally, the hotel offers a nice selection of drinks at the well-stocked bar, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the scenic surroundings. The terrace overlooking the lawn is a lovely spot to soak up the stunning views and enjoy some downtime.

All was considered, making it an okay stay.

The food at the hotel was absolutely delightful! The menu offered a variety of dishes and the quality was excellent. The friendly staff made the dining experience even better. Additionally, the location of the hotel was great. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available. Plus, the hotel was located near the Muir of Dinnet, which made for some beautiful early morning dog walks.

The entrance hall and corridors could do with some redecorating. They were a bit outdated and could use a fresh coat of paint.

Great friendly staff and lovely lounge rooms where you can enjoy a local brew. The food in the restaurant was first class. The hotel is located near stunning countryside and offers a welcoming and helpful staff.

The room was small and became super hot and stuffy overnight. The lack of easily accessible sockets and old bathroom were also drawbacks.

We stayed at Loch Kinord for a couple of nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel had a friendly atmosphere and was well-appointed. Our room, with a four-poster bed and a large balcony overlooking the grounds, was cozy and comfortable. The meals provided, both breakfasts and dinners, were excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and we enjoyed walking along the old railway track to Ballater. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my time here. They extended dinner time for me and my friend when we were delayed after climbing Lochnagar, allowing us to freshen up before our meal. They even dried my wet gear after a rainy hill walk earlier in the week. These little touches really made a difference. The hotel itself was very clean and had a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The location was beautiful, with lovely gardens and easy access to both the Highlands and the coast. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options.

Nothing, everything was excellent.

Just had a lovely stay at a hotel near the famous Lonach Gathering Highland Games. Andrew and Kate, along with the rest of the staff, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We booked one of the Master suites which had a sauna and jacuzzi bath. The four poster bed was incredibly comfy, and the garden was a suntrap all day long. We highly recommend trying their scone afternoon tea and the evening meals were always perfect. Great value for money, and we can't wait to visit again. - Kirsty and Mike 😊
