The value for money was great, and the room was clean and well thought out. The location was perfect for our needs, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

On a positive note, the location of the hotel is great. It is conveniently close to Whitely Shopping Village and has a lovely garden area. the toilets in the area were clean and well-maintained.

The service at the restaurant was extremely slow and disorganized. One guest had to wait over an hour for their meal, which only consisted of a baked potato with beans and a steak salad with chips.

I recently stayed at the Lodge at Solent for a weekend getaway. The hotel provided cozy dog beds for our furry friends, and the air conditioning was a much-needed relief on a humid weekend. The shower in the room was fantastic, allowing us to control the temperature before stepping in, and the lighting system was convenient, with switches by the bed. The USB charging slots were a bonus, and the workstation was well-equipped with plugs and a comfortable chair. The service was top-notch, and the attached pub offered a great atmosphere and delicious food. The breakfast spread had a perfect combination of continental options and extras, and the car park was conveniently located just outside.

The hotel is conveniently located near to all that the area has to offer, making it a great choice for a short stay. It is also close to a Business Park, which is ideal for business travelers. Additionally, there are plenty of options to drive out and find restaurants in the vicinity.

Some noise from other guests in the hallway was reported, although it subsided by 10pm.

Our xmas stay was great with comfortable beds and a fantastic shower. the family room was spacious with a lovely balcony to enjoy the nice weather. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of fixtures and fittings and appreciated the high standard of cleanliness. the breakfast was delicious offering both continental and hot options at a reasonable price.

The room seemed quite small for two adults, and there was no space to work or take Zoom calls. despite having air conditioning, the room was still quite hot.
