Upgraded to a charming suite with a copper bath, we enjoyed a lovely meal where even our dog could join us. the lounge, restaurant, and gardens were superb, and the cooked breakfast was excellent. the attentive staff and cleanliness were top-notch. the historical property, though a bit noisy, offers a great base to explore nearby landmarks, fostering family bonding. the relaxed garden area and proximity to various galleries and historic sites enriched our short visit.

the staff were both efficient and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. the location was perfect for my needs and the room was spacious, comfortable, and had a superbly comfortable bed. I also appreciated the option of ground floor rooms for those who may have difficulty with stairs. the breakfast, while I didn't have a cooked one, was of excellent quality. the overall service and attention to detail from the staff were exceptional.

Lovely old property with many beams, creaky staircases, full of character and tasteful furnishings. the breakfast was a delightful surprise, rich and satisfying. As a food enthusiast, I can confidently say it was a culinary masterpiece. the quality of the breakfast was off the charts, truly unbeatable.

At first, I had doubts when I entered through the small entrance from the bar, but as soon as I explored the rest of the building, I was captivated. the lounge area, restaurant, and gardens were all beautifully refurbished and spacious. the food served was top-notch, and the friendly staff made my stay truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place as a base to explore the area or for a stopover.

There were a few downsides to our stay. The lack of double glazing in the rooms made it quite noisy, especially in the mornings with traffic passing by.
