Spotlessly clean house with everything you could need during your stay. The welcome basket and milk in the fridge were a lovely touch. The location was excellent for accessing shops and local walks.

The steep and narrow staircase made it tricky to manage heavy bags. Only one front door key between 5 of us was inconvenient.

We got great value for our money with a comfortable and well-equipped house at Loughrigg View. The location was perfect, close to shops and local walks, yet still quiet. The standout was the exceptional service and friendly attitude of Sharon, the maintenance and service manager.

The morning meal could have been improved with a better selection.

My recent stay at Loughrigg View in Ambleside was a pleasant experience. The location of the villa was excellent, with easy access to a parking lot and the town center within walking distance. The converted house was substantial and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and quiet retreat. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and I enjoyed the nice views from the property.

Although there were some minor drawbacks, such as the lack of parking on-site , the permit provided for a nearby car park worked well and solved any parking issues. Additionally, it would have been helpful if instructions for operating the cooker and TV were provided, as it took some time to figure them out.

The local walks were great, and being centrally located made it easy to explore the surrounding area.

The staircase in the cottage was a bit narrow and steep, which could be challenging for those with heavy bags.

We had a wonderful 12-day stay at the beautiful Loughrigg View Villa. The location was perfect, with easy access to shops and enjoyable local walks. The cottage facilities were clean and comfortable, offering everything we needed. Ambleside's central location made it convenient to visit other places. We especially appreciated the welcoming package of tea, coffee, and biscuits, which made us feel truly welcomed. We highly recommend Loughrigg View Villa to others.
