As we stayed in the attic room during warm weather, it got quite hot and we had to sleep with the window open, which led to noise disturbances from the busy main road.

The shower could use an upgrade as it was a bit weak and disappointing. the curtains in the room did not block out the streetlight, making it difficult to achieve complete darkness at night.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when they allowed us to check in early so we could change before attending a funeral nearby. It made a difficult day a little less stressful. The free parking opposite Tesco was also a bonus.

The owner doesn't live on site but the key code made it easy to enter. The room was clean and spacious, and clean towels were provided daily.
