The hotel is located in a nice area, not far from the historical city center. The room was clean and cosy, with comfortable beds. The shower was relaxing and the room had good storage for clothes. The hotel also provided free, fast Wi-Fi and had helpful and friendly staff.

Stayed at a nice property called Frederick Douglass - Rooms in the City in a convenient location. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and easy access to the central town by bus or a short walk. the bathroom was clean, spacious, and enjoyable to use after a long day of exploring. the room itself was cozy and had comfortable beds. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like USB ports, a guide book, and free Wi-Fi. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay pleasant. a great experience.

the communication with the host regarding entry to the property was really good. the family room I stayed in was spacious, with comfortable beds, a sofa, TV, tea and coffee facilities, and a good shower with shampoo provided. the blackout curtains were a nice touch, and there was even a storage area behind the double bed for luggage. the location was convenient, with Holyrood Park just a 15-minute walk away, and it took about 30 minutes to walk into town, passing plenty of shops and coffee bars along the way. the Wi-Fi was excellent and there were ample lighting in the room. the host also provided free tea and coffee, which was more than enough for our group. the proximity to bus stops and the city centre was a bonus.

my recent stay in edinburgh exceeded expectations! the room was cosy, well-equipped, and bigger than expected. separate toilet & bathroom, mini pantry, and 2 tvs were just perfect. staff were friendly, and the location was great with cafes and services nearby. a warm and cosy experience overall!
