The room was beautifully decorated with a dreamy four-poster bed. The bathing facilities were amazing with a big bath and shower. We even had our own private patio to enjoy if the weather had been nicer. The staff went above and beyond, making our stay memorable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We can't wait to come back!

Staying at Lower Thornton Farm Villa was a wonderful experience. The setting was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a charming building style. The large room with a patio setting and spacious en suite made for a comfortable stay, particularly during the summer. The staff were polite and helpful, and we were warmly welcomed by the lady owner. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the nearby Ley Arms pub, which was recommended to us. we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend this establishment.

Very quiet for a good sleep. Lovely breakfast with great views. Spotless and spacious bathroom and bedroom. Delicious homemade breakfast options. Friendly collies in the garden. Approachable and helpful owner. Exceptional breakfast, including gluten-free options.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The room was clean and warm, and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a bigger room. The bed was comfortable, and we had a really good night's sleep. The hotel's location in beautiful countryside was perfect for a peaceful and quiet getaway. The room had its own patio area overlooking the garden, where we could sit and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The hotel staff were friendly and considerate, offering us helpful directions and making us feel welcome. The breakfast provided was of excellent quality, with plenty of choices to satisfy our taste buds.

I also appreciated the proximity to popular attractions such as Exeter and Dawlish, while still enjoying the tranquility of the countryside.

We had a fantastic stay at this country home. The bedroom was spacious and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also large and well-designed, with great water pressure. The homemade breakfast options were delicious and catered to our gluten-free needs. The owner was extremely pleasant and accommodating, offering suggestions for nearby meals and even helping with our laundry. The hotel's peaceful location and large garden added to the overall relaxing experience. We had no problems with parking our car.

We had a lovely stay at a quiet and peaceful country home on the edge of the forest and rolling fields. The hostess at Lower Thornton Farm was incredibly accommodating, and our room was nice and comfortable. The highlight was definitely the delicious cooked breakfast with a wide variety of options to choose from. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the countryside from our bedroom window. it was a perfect one night stay on our way to Cornwall.

We had a fantastic stay at Lower Thornton Farm. The lady owner warmly greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the facilities. Although we declined tea and biscuits, we appreciated the gesture after our long journey. The nearby Ley Arms pub, which was recommended, exceeded our expectations with its excellent meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and may even return later this year. With its peaceful setting and wonderful host, Alison, our stay was everything we wanted. The breakfast was superb and we had great fun playing with the dogs, especially Rex who followed us on our long trek. The only downside is the somewhat remote location and the lack of phone signal, although Wi-Fi is available on the property. we would highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting the area.

The hospitality was top-notch, and we highly recommend this place. The breakfast room had a lovely view, and we even spotted deer in the field one morning. The dogs on the property were friendly and playful.
