Nestled by a peaceful stream on the edge of a forest, we found the perfect escape to connect with nature. With a cup of tea and the most delicious lemon cake, we started each morning in tranquility. The location, a short walk from town center, was convenient yet serene. The room was comfortable and quiet, offering a lovely view of the surroundings. The hosts were warm and accommodating, ensuring nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were excellent, with a variety of choices in a beautiful dining room.

The shared bathroom was a minor inconvenience, but it didn't pose any significant issues.

The hotel is conveniently located just outside the centre of town, with beautiful gardens to enjoy. The rooms are well-appointed, with fine china and cake provided, and the towels are soft and fluffy. The breakfast selection is excellent, and there is a lovely tea garden to relax in. The mattress could be a bit hard for those who prefer a softer bed.

The hotel was impeccably clean and had great facilities. The parking was convenient and there were plenty of transportation options available. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful East Yorkshire Coast, as well as the charming villages of Pickering, Helmsley, and Rievaulx Abbey. The hotel offered a lovely cup of tea and the most delicious lemon cake upon arrival. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were friendly and attentive.
