We got excellent value for our money at Lugger Hotel. Our room was fantastic, with stunning views and little extra touches like shortbreads and hot chocolate every evening. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway and exploring Cornwall. The staff were very friendly and even chatted with us about our dog, who was welcomed without any extra charge.

The breakfast menu could have been improved with better organization and attention to detail. Certain essential items like napkins, butter knives, and serving spoons were missing from the cold buffet, and we had to ask for them.

Our 25th Wedding Anniversary happened to be on the same day hospitality opened so we booked what we hoped would be a special stay at The Lugger. Well, it didn't disappoint. The location is in a secluded bay, picturesque and quiet. The Beach Cottage was split-level with tasteful nautical decor and stunning views. The restaurant served excellent, tailored meals, even accommodating dietary requirements. The staff, especially Tom and Ian, were accommodating and welcoming. The little touches like hot chocolate, cakes, and water bottles made the experience truly special.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area with plenty of nearby attractions and activities. The rooms are extremely comfortable, with spacious bathrooms and delightful low windows that provide a great view of the sea. The hotel is dog-friendly, with external access to rooms from the car park, making it convenient for dog owners. The food at the hotel is of top quality, with delicious meals and attentive waiting staff. The hotel also offers some special touches, such as providing sheets and blankets instead of duvets upon request, and offering hot water bottles and hot chocolate sachets in the room.

The dinner menu lacked variety, which could be disappointing if you are staying for more than one night. Although the room was nice, it was more like a cottage and had a self-catering feel to it, instead of feeling like a hotel room.
