Great value for money with a comfortable room and a fan provided to cope with the heat. The hotel's location was perfect, close to amenities and the stunning castle. The staff were outstanding and the garden area provided a lovely spot to relax with a drink.

Morning meal could have been improved with smoked back bacon instead of streaky bacon.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a fantastic medieval village setting, perfect for sightseeing.
