It was a special occasion, and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The grounds and views were stunning, and the room was lovely. I was pleasantly surprised to find straighteners and binoculars in the drawer. The complimentary gin was a nice touch, and I loved the coffee and cake room. The food was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. it was a truly special experience.

The location of the hotel is stunning, with beautiful grounds and a view of the estuary. However, it may be difficult to walk in heels due to the terrain. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a range of amenities. The service provided by the staff is attentive and the breakfast is delicious. Guests can also enjoy the luxury surroundings, including a tennis court.

The coordination between the restaurant staff and the reception staff could be improved.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The hotel facilities were top-notch and the views from the grounds were stunning. The food was absolutely amazing, prepared by a 2 Michelin star chef. The bar was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary gin and the coffee and cake room was a delightful addition. The location was also convenient, with easy access to transportation and close proximity to Michelin star restaurants.

Nothing not to like.

Staff & food were great. The amenities were also enjoyed, location was nice & walking is easy. Plus, we had an unexpected room upgrade that we weren't charged for.

But, even with the upgrade, the room felt cramped. Dirty glasses in the room and the "self-service" pantry was not maintained & found lacking.

The location of the hotel is beautiful and perfect for meeting Michael Caine, as he is known to frequent the area. the grounds are great for taking a leisurely walk and enjoying the scenery. The room itself is comfortable and the breakfast is exceptional.

The pathways in the grounds are difficult to navigate due to the use of stones, which can be inconvenient for guests.

This hotel offers a luxurious and exclusive experience with its stunning outdoor swimming pool, sun loungers and garden area, providing a peaceful retreat with beautiful views. Plush rooms with exclusive amenities such as in-room breakfast, packed lunches, and special diet menus are available. The seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace are perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

The only minor discomfort was the limited selection of snacks at the poolside snack bar. However, the hotel provides an exceptional dining experience at the restaurant with its complex and memorable signature tasting menu, making up for the lack of poolside snack options.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lympstone Manor. The staff were attentive yet discreet, making us feel like we were the only guests. The intimate and calm atmosphere of the hotel was truly delightful. The grounds and views were stunning, and our room was lovely. We were pleasantly surprised to find straighteners and binoculars in the drawer. The complimentary gin was a treat, and the coffee and cake room was a joy. The food was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and professional. Most importantly, they catered to our daughter's severe nut allergy without any issues.

We had an incredible stay at a beautiful grand Manor House overlooking the estuary. The luxury surroundings, stunning views, and delightful staff made our experience truly memorable. The dinner at the Michelin star restaurant was outstanding, and the tasting menus with perfectly matched wines were a highlight. The grounds, with their sculptures, added to the idyllic ambiance. We can't wait to return.
