We recently stayed at a wonderful family-run B&B in Scotland. the rooms were exceptional, with plenty of space and beautiful furnishings. the communal spaces were also exceptional, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. the breakfast served by the owners was fantastic, and the added bonus of homemade cakes in the afternoon was delightful. the location of the B&B was absolutely stunning, and we are already looking forward to visiting again.

Located right beside a picturesque river, the hotel offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. Within walking distance, guests can find a few local restaurants where they can enjoy a nice meal. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds, fluffy towels, and luxurious linens. The bathrooms are spacious, with separate showers and ample amenities. The service provided by the hosts is exceptional, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast options are varied and delicious, cooked to perfection. The communal areas, such as the living room with a crackling fire and complimentary single malt whiskey, provide a cozy and homely ambiance.

I had the most perfect stay at this hidden gem in a beautiful location. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a warm smile and the most delicious gingerbread and tea. The attention to detail in the rooms was impeccable - the feathered pillows, crisp linen, and elegant presentation of refreshments made me feel like royalty. The views from the windows were breathtaking, with a serene river and lush woodland. The afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes was heavenly, and the breakfast was beyond compare - fresh fruit, yogurt, and the most beautifully cooked Scottish breakfast. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, making my stay even more memorable. The only minor drawback was the softness of the pillows, but that's a personal preference. I can't recommend this place enough. It truly was a perfect stay.

the spacious and exclusive room had a king-size bed and the most comfortable linens. the outdoor dining area surrounded by a garden area was the perfect spot for a romantic dinner. the leisure/TV room was cozy and well-stocked with games and books. the breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options, including special diet menus. Service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to satisfy our every need.

The hotel lacks a sun terrace.

The bathroom products and tea and coffee in the room could be better. There was no organic or natural option to match the surroundings.

The communal breakfast was delightful, allowing for pleasant conversations with fellow guests and picturesque views of the meadows. The location also provided excellent opportunities to capture the breathtaking night sky.

The spacious and airy rooms were beautifully furnished and the bathroom had a luxurious walkthrough shower. The breakfasts were top-notch with a wide variety of options. I loved the afternoon coffee and freshly baked cake provided by the lovely host. The attention to detail, from the complimentary sherry and whisky to the crystal glasses, made me feel truly pampered. The surrounding countryside and river views were breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect getaway.
