The lodge itself was spacious and lovely, and the self-catering facilities were great for our toddler. the location was perfect, with everything we needed right in the lodge. the zip line activity nearby was a fun family experience. We also enjoyed the excellent pizza at Giovanni's and had a fantastic meal at the Scottish steakhouse.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway at Macdonald Woodland Lodges. The accommodation was incredibly clean and tidy, and we loved the cozy log fire in the lodge. The three bedrooms with their own bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. The location in the Scottish Highlands is perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Loch Morloch. There are also plenty of great dining options within a short distance. a wonderful experience.

We got great value for our money with a comfortable and clean lodge that had all the facilities we needed. The location was central and perfect for walking into town, and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Our stay at Macdonald Woodland Lodges was fantastic! We got great value for our money and the room was lovely - airy, well lit, and with a beautiful woodland view. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and even spotting a red squirrel outside. The staff were absolutely fantastic, always friendly and willing to assist with anything we needed.

When it comes to breakfast choices, it would be great to have a bit more variety and options.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was satisfying, although I had to remind them about a few items I had ordered. I had a wonderful time exploring the surrounding area and enjoying the amenities of the hotel.

Lovely lodge in a great location near beautiful walks and a beach. Breakfast included with a buffet selection. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. On-site shop is wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful.

We had a delightful 2-day stay at the lodge which is conveniently located near the city center. The lodge was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with comfortable beds and well-stocked bathrooms. Our 3-year-old grandson had a blast exploring the fabulous outdoor area. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent and the staff were all very helpful. We will definitely be returning.

Our stay at the lodge was absolutely amazing! The lodge has stunning views and direct access to trails in the nearby nature reserve. The lodge itself was spacious, well heated, and well equipped with three rooms and three bathrooms. The beds were large and comfortable, and the kitchen had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed the convenience of having meals and drinks inside. The wifi was excellent, and we also had a great time at the swimming pool, which had a wave and a water slide. The breakfast options were plentiful, and the resort entertainment crew, especially Rory, was a hoot.

We stayed in the lodges this time and although the decor was a little tired, the lodge itself was big, clean, and warm. the American-style breakfast at the hotel was amazing, and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful forest walks. the resort entertainment crew, especially Rory, was excellent and provided great entertainment. the location of Aviemore was perfect, and we were glad that the swimming pool temperature was better in the summer compared to our previous visit in January. We look forward to returning with a larger group in April!

I recently stayed at Macdonald Aviemore Resort for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the property itself is spacious and well-maintained. All the staff members were friendly and approachable, making my stay even more enjoyable. The chalets were cozy and well-equipped, providing a comfortable experience. The resort had a festive Christmas atmosphere, which added to the overall charm. There were plenty of activities for the kids, making it a great family-friendly destination.

Great location, within walking distance of amenities, pubs, and restaurants. the lodges are well-spaced out in a beautiful and mature woodland setting, providing a nice sense of seclusion. the cabins offer a cozy atmosphere with a log fire and a separate living room area, perfect for relaxing. the swimming pool, steam room, and sauna are fantastic amenities, especially for families. the staff, particularly the lady at check-in, were friendly and helpful. the rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast offered plenty of choices and ensured hungry stomachs were satisfied.

The lodge was fantastic - spacious, clean, and warm. The beds were like sleeping on clouds, and the fireplace added a charming touch. The facilities were excellent, including an indoor swimming pool that the kids loved. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The location was excellent and very central, allowing for easy and quick access to the mountains. Breakfast was delicious, and the takeaway pizza was great.
