The self-catering cottages are well-equipped, with good kitchen facilities and comfortable amenities such as a big bed and a good shower. Guests also appreciate the provision of food essentials and towels, enhancing their stay.

Some guests expressed a desire to meet the owners either on arrival or departure, feeling that this would have allowed for any issues or minor repairs to be discussed or pointed out in person.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with plenty of good walks on the doorstep and the coastal paths just a short distance away. The outdoor space is extensive and perfect for children, with a large wooded area, rope swing, and fairy dells. The property also features a wood-fired hot tub, a decked area with table and chairs, and a good-sized BBQ.

One negative aspect mentioned by a guest was a smell in the bathroom, which prevented them from using the bath or shower during their stay.

We couldn't have asked for a better location for our stay. The hotel was situated in a tranquil area, perfect for some much-needed relaxation. The nearby town of Pittenweem was only a 10-minute walk away, offering great walks and coastal paths. We were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of outdoor activities available, including a large wooded area with a rope swing, fairy dells, and a small stream. The hotel also had an impressive outdoor space with a wood-fired hot tub, a decked area with table and chairs, and a spacious BBQ. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
