I recently stayed at a beautiful, well-furnished cottage in Winchester. The tiered garden was fabulous, with multiple sitting areas, including one by the river. David and Deepti, the hosts, were welcoming and helpful, and the fresh fruit on arrival was a lovely touch. The location was perfect, only a short walk to the Cathedral and shopping area. Having a parking space was a bonus, and there is a multi-storey car park close by for anyone with multiple vehicles. The cleanliness of the cottage was exceptional, with comfortable beds and a perfectly regulated temperature. The easy-to-use oven cooked meals to perfection, and the spotless bathrooms were a delight. You won't regret staying here.
