My partner and I stayed at Marina Boathouse for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, just a short walk into town. The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, overlooking the tranquil marina. We loved sitting outside with a drink and watching the boats come and go.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Excellent marina views, walking distance to main street. Great Bar n Bistro on site. Full kitchen set up, prompt host communication. Washing machine and dryer are a bonus. Comfortable, clean and well-equipped apartment. Lovely balcony with marina view, perfect for boat spotting. Peaceful location, 15-min walk to Lake Windermere and Bowness. Immaculately clean accommodation, great location for exploring southern lakes. Set on the lake, with passing boats and wildlife. A great spot.

The value for money at the Marina Boathouse was exceptional, with a well-cared for apartment and excellent facilities. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views from the balcony and easy access to the lake. The host, Cathy, was kind and helpful throughout our stay.

Hotel breakfast could have been improved with the addition of some sort of shelter on the balcony, allowing guests to enjoy the exceptional view even on rainy days.

I had an amazing stay at this property managed by Lake Windermere Lets. the boathouse was clean, tidy, and modern, with all the necessary amenities for a perfect weekend getaway or even a longer stay. the kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom was stunning, with a lovely hot shower. the location was peaceful, offering a fabulous view of the marina through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. I also appreciated the tranquility and the opportunity to feed the ducks and swans. it had everything I could ever want for a relaxing vacation.

The apartment had stunning views of the mountains and Lake Windermere, and the terrace was the perfect spot to enjoy them. The kitchen was well-equipped and the location was ideal for exploring the area.

I just loved having to figure out the mysteriously changing shower temperature and my husband absolutely adored having his legs dangle off the short bed. Such quirky features!
