I recently stayed at a hotel in a busy street that was close to the main attractions of the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to everyone's requirements. The location was ideal, as it was central to everywhere I needed to go, but it wasn't on a busy street, so I had some peace and quiet while in bed. I also appreciated the proximity to a large car park.

I did find the double bed in my room to be a bit small, and the mattress was too hard for my liking.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center and close to all the attractions. The staff, particularly Carol, were incredibly attentive and welcoming. They couldn't do enough for us, even making pancakes for my little boy for breakfast. The family room was comfortable, with clean sheets and comfy beds. The street, Vance Road, was peaceful and quiet, providing a peaceful night's sleep despite it being half term and during the illuminations. I would highly recommend Mayfair for its location, service, and comfortable accommodations.
