mayfield cottage was even better than our previous stay in burtree ford. the comfortable bed, lovely kitchen, and spacious layout exceeded our expectations. we especially enjoyed the beautiful views from the sitting room and the opportunity for the kids to play safely in the garden.

Sticky door was a minor inconvenience.

Comfortable cottage in a charming village. Well-equipped kitchen and cozy bathroom. Enjoyed the wood burning stoves and private garden. Highly recommend exploring nearby attractions like Raby Castle, Durham Cathedral, and High Force to Low Force walk. Friendly locals and breathtaking scenery.
