We had a wonderful stay at Meadhon Guest House. Amanda and Rob were amazing hosts, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They even learned some sign language to communicate with our daughter, Emma. Our room had stunning views of the garden, the Abbey, and Jedburgh. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we didn't want to leave it. the breakfast was absolutely fabulous and kept us full all day.

I can’t think of anything that could improve this guest house unless the owners let you stay for free.

As a business traveler, I appreciated the warm reception and helpfulness of Amanda and Rob. The attic room was spacious with a lovely view of the castle. The carpets throughout the guest house were plush and comforting. The self-regulated temperature in the room was a nice feature. The breakfast options were ample and delicious.

The breakfast served by Amanda was absolutely delicious, and we also appreciated the ample selection of cereals and yoghurts. the service, comfort, and quality of this hotel exceeded our expectations.

We enjoyed our romantic escape at this hotel. the breakfast was fantastic and included homemade jams and honey. the room was clean and well-appointed with thoughtful amenities like a small library and bathroom necessities. the location was convenient, situated in the heart of the town with easy access to shops and restaurants.

It was not a very quiet location, as we could hear the sounds of traffic and people outside throughout the night. we found the size of the room to be smaller than expected, which made it a bit difficult to move around comfortably at times.

From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was simply amazing! The location was ideal and the rooms were super comfortable and fully equipped. The hosts were so friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options. Can't wait to visit again!

The guest house is conveniently located in the village centre, within walking distance to everything. The beautiful old building and its tasteful interior decor add to the charm of the accommodation. Despite having a standard room facing the street, it was surprisingly quiet and we slept well in the comfortable bed. The hosts were extremely welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The breakfast provided was lovely and plentiful, with a variety of options to choose from.
