Incredible location with stunning views of the harbour. Spacious rooms and comfortable accommodations. Excellent facilities, including accessible amenities. Helpful staff who assisted with event planning. Fascinating historical features and artwork throughout. Would definitely return for another stay.

We got amazing value for our money at Merchant'S House! The room was stunning, with fantastic views and loads of space. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the harbor with plenty of eating places nearby. The staff were excellent and helped us plan a family celebration, even lending us teacups for our afternoon tea party. We loved exploring the little secret cubby holes around the house and learning about its history in the museum downstairs. It had everything we needed, including disabled access and an accessible bathroom. We would absolutely love to stay again!

The breakfast option could be improved with a wider variety of choices.

Superb decor, rich history, and quirky features. Helpful staff and excellent facilities for family celebrations. Competitive price for a group of 10.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, with immaculate rooms and common areas. The hotel facilities were outstanding, with a beautiful drawing room and dining area that had stunning views of the harbour. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, assisting us in planning a family celebration and even lending us teacups for an afternoon tea party. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the restaurants in the harbour. The parking was ample and convenient. this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way.
